Is the reunion a weekend thing dill, that's always the way our reunions go. There is one big potluck supper held on the Saturday but the rest of the meals are up to each family. Our reunion is this year as well, being held at a campground in a Provincial Park in Saskatchewan the first weekend in August.
We used to play a lot of crib with the kids Slo, but seems Uno is the game of choice now.
Y'all will have to fend for yourselves tomorrow morning as I'll be out at Adam and Darcie's cabin. Adam and I are headed there this morning to get started on the plumbing and waterlines in and under the cabin. The sewer line from the cabin to the holding tank will be for another weekend. ABC, he's installing a holding take instead of a septic system? Do you need permits for that too? How big will the tank be and how often does Adam think it will need to be emptied? Love that idea for a summer home!

We will be having various family members coming and going at the beach house this summer but nothing organized like you, Dill. I think your platters sounds like a great solution though!

I got another steroid shot yesterday in my knee. Damn those things hurt! We will see if it helps this time. It's my third so I'm skeptical it will. Headed to the mountains today to see my kids that are camping up there. I'll take another day of freedom!Comment

I am up at D1’s! Oh, I love being with this family! I guess I love domestic life. Had a lovely day with them all. Lots of hugs from 2 y/o Cooper, played a game with 4 y/o Mabel, and outside time helping a bit with 5 y/o Beckett and his daddy cleaning the garage.
Yeah, I think those steroid shots have diminishing returns with repeats.

I did a short hike yesterday. It was wonderful being in "my" mountains.
Knee held up but I was very careful. I'll try again soon if things stay this way. Helping granddaughter today with birthday decorations for my 2yo g-grandaughter's party coming up on the 22nd. Should be a fun day. I'll take another day of freedom!

Dill, I've been working with admin about the disappearing posts but they're not really sure what's going on. The worst thing that could happen is that I'll have to start using my laptop instead of my Kindle. We shall see.
Ginger, glad that you were able to get a short hike in, just be careful.
More rain today which we really don't need. The farmers are having trouble getting the hay done due to all of this rain. At least the temperature has been in the seventies instead of the fifties as it was for most of May.

Good morning Cafe. Jude, I am sorry about those posts disappearing. I didnt even know you could do anything from a kindle other than read. I love my Kindle but could not survive without my ipad. Slo I am glad you are having fun at your daughter’s house. Ginger, hope that knee continues to hold up without any issues. Cowboy is probably very busy still with Adam. Hi to Dill. Without going into any detail, after a horrible day yesterday with family drama, I have deleted my stepmother and stepsister from my contacts and blocked their phone numbers. No more contact with them. They refused to let me speak to his doctor because they are in charge, not me. I am so done with them. So today I am going into this new week letting go of what I can not control. 24 more please and thank you.Comment

Rava, that is heart-breaking and maddening. I don't blame you a bit for severing all ties to your step family. I will say a prayer for you and your dad. Thank you for that lovely breakfast yesterday. You really stepped up!
Jude, I hope switching to your Ipad works. I bet it will. I always had trouble trying to post on my Ipad but it wasn't technical trouble. I just had a hard time using the touchscreen keypad. I have to have the real feel of the keyboard it seems. LOL Rain yet again today! It's good some of the farmers got their hay up during that short window of sunshine that we had. Ours is still down, unfortunately.
Slo, I'm so glad you are getting so much family time! It must be very comforting and a good way to be distracted from pain.
