Thanks for the smiley pic Rava! I've never really minded events with lots of people but now I can only take them for so long, it just gets too noisy for me. You'll do great!

Oh don't worry Ginger, ice cream will always be a part of my diet lol.

How far of a drive is it between you two Jude and dill? Maybe pick someplace halfway and meet each other? I know if I lived down there I'd probably drive around and meet all of you!

Still waiting to get back into the field. Corey figured it would be today at the very earliest, maybe he'll take one combine out today and run a test.

Jude, I'm in the same boat as you with the monitoring. I'm just relived no one suggested surgery to me! Perhaps one day they will, but I'll cross that road when I come to it.

Cowboy, I'm not sure at all how far it is to meet Jude halfway. But the apple growing region of New York state is probably around 600 miles from here. So half of that would mean a 300 mile drive. That's quite a commitment, but it would be great to meet Jude. Bucket list, perhaps... Hey! I'm so glad the teeth are a better fit for you!

Rava, I haven't been out to a club to listen to music in YEARS! The main reason for me is the sound level is usually too much. But now that you mention it, I bet I couldn't go to such a venue (if the sound was down) without ordering a drink. Then the struggle begins and enjoyment of the music falls to the wayside. Not worth it. Loved the smiley!

Ginger, It's been a very long time since I drank out at a social event and even longer since I drank for fun. I don't even think I would drink to cope with anxiety at social events. At this point I'm more anxious at public/social events if I am drinking. I guess it's because I know I would be drinking too much and putting all my energy into trying to do it without getting noticed or looking acting/drunk. Not worth it.

Gorgeous day here. I'm usually volunteering on Thursday, but another volunteer asked me to trade days with her, so I'll be going tomorrow instead. I know this change in my schedule is going to mess me up for a few days. I'll feel like tomorrow is Thursday, Saturday will be Friday, etc....I guess I am more and more a creature of habit as I age.

      Not today.

Ginger, hope that you had good news at your Dr.'s appointment yesterday and that your hand is doing well.

Dill, I think that you are probably about 6 hours away from me depending on where you are in Ohio. I'm definitely going to put it on my bucket list because you never know.

Rava, you will do fine at the wedding tomorrow. Just keep saying no to that first drink and you'll be waking up on top of the world the next day.

          Waves to cowboy and Mul!

Hope the appointment went well yesterday Ginger and you can resume normal activities with your hand. I'm sure it'll take a while to get back to 100% but it'll get there. Now to just get that knee fixed/replaced...

It looks like you got off to your volunteer job this morning dill without forgetting lol. Lots of times I have to think about what day of the week it is especially when I'm farming haha.

Nothing from Corey yet and I'm starting to get restless lol. But Bubba is really enjoying having me home, I get her coffee in the morning, make breakfast, make supper, take out the garbage, etc, etc. But I must admit it's been nice being at home.

Waves to the rest of the gang!

Good Morning Cafe. We get our sliding glass door replaced today. So no more listening to broken glass falling down the door. There is a huge piece of adhesive holding the outside glass panel but the heat makes the glass still fall from the adhesive. Ginger, I hope the hand appt goes well today. Dill, i hear you about drinking too much and trying to act like you are not drunk. So pitiful. That is me to a tee!! Not tomorrow tho, I am determined to get thru this sober. I don’t feel weak about it. I am not going to drink Period. I am going to focus on waking up and feeling great! Thanks for all your support! 24 more please and thank you.

Hand appt went well. It's ahead of schedule and I don't have to go to PT anymore. I'm still supposed to wear my brace when I use power tools or do much else with my hand until Oct. I can golf again in Nov. I'm happy all around! Now on to the knee.

It's a trip to Costco after exercise. Hubby loves a Costco trip. Me, not so much. Too peopley but I go for him. Lol

Waves to all! I'll take another day of freedom

I did manage over-sleep and get up so late I was having to hurry to get there. It's officially dark in the mornings now during my drive. Not even getting light when I pull into the parking lot.. And a got comments from many staff people that I was throwing them off by being there today. It seems to throw everyone for a loop when you switch your volunteer day!

Ginger, that's great news about your hand. You've really done a good job looking after it and you're reaping the rewards.

Cowboy, it is nice having that free time at home and with Bubba, I'm sure. Corry better get you back to work before you wander off for good!

Rava, I think you are going to do just great at the wedding this weekend!

Jude, Bucket list it is! You never know...

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.
