4:45a here. I got up to ice my knee and thought I'd check in. Hi. Jude!

PT was brutal yesterday. She's working the scare really HARD to break up adhesions that will cause restrictions if left alone. Omg! I'm doing great otherwise. Range of motion should be 0/120 and I'm at 5/109 so I'm headed in the right direction!

I hope everyone has an easy day. I'll check back later to read posts. I'll take another!

5:15am in Alberta, 24 more for me please, and thanks...

Today is going to be a darn good day not to drink!
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

That's pretty early for you to be up Ginger, was it still painful from the PT and that's why you needed to ice it? Sounds like your recovery is definitely headed in the right direction even though PT can be painful.

Sounds like Mr J will be needing the tractor again for snow removal after the storm passes Jude, a good time to stay inside and work on that blanket.

Did you get any snow yet dill? We haven't had any snow here for a couple of days now thankfully.

        Waves to Rava...

Good morning, I just realized I forgot to check in yesterday. Mr r and I got up early and went to the Verizon store and spent most of the morning getting new phones and iPads. What a long morning. We had old phones that were overheating and batteries not holding so it was time. We fly back south today. Hopefully I will be checking in tomorrow from Florida. Keep up that PT Ginger. Sounds like a rough time but I am sure it will be worth it. Wishing everyone a safe and sober day! Ps I just saw on tv that there are thousands of flight delays. Fingers crossed!!

I'll be thinking of you today, Rava. I hope you don't have to deal with weather delays. Safe travels to you and Mr. R.

Wow Ginger! Sorry you have to deal with that pain, but it sounds important that you do. It'll pay off in the end.

Jude, perfect activity for a snowy day!

Cowboy, we had a few flakes yesterday, but the real snow stayed north of us. We had terrible winds though, which made any time outside very brutal!

Both the holidays fell on my volunteer day this year so I have had a nice long break. My supervisor called me and asked in I would fill in for somebody today and I told her I would rather not because I have too much to do. I felt guilty about it, but it's just nice to have the time off. And I actually do have things to catch up on here at home. Did I mention that my girlfriend that fell and broke her hip got released from rehab? She's back at home and will have home health care for a while. I stopped in and visited with her and helped her with a few things she needed doing.

            Not today...
            Dill

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

I forgot to post a picture of the snow we have now the other day, so here it is. We're in a wonderful stretch of a few days of nice weather finally!

Ginger, sorry that PT is so painful right now but it is an important part of your recovery. Sounds like you are making progress though.

Rava, hope that you made it to Florida with no problems or delays and are enjoying the warmer temps.

Dill, you shouldn't feel guilty about not filling in for someone at your volunteer job. Sometimes you just have to say no.

Mul, thanks for the pics. You sure do live in a beautiful area. Love the mountain views!

                Hey cowboy!

24 more for all of us please...

Oh my! Mul those photos are stunning! Thank you for sharing. Your Christmas tree looks lovely as well.

Jude, thank you for your supportive comments. I know you are right and I have let it go. Onward and upward!

Can't believe this is the last day of 2025. I kinda felt like it was just getting started....Guess I'll try and think of resolutions for the new year. I think it is important to set not so much goals, but set a direction.

My direction for today is to head into another 24 hours of freedom!

                  Not today.

Hope you're in your Florida home safe and sound Rava. What kind of phones did you get, Bubba and I are going to need to upgrade ours soon as we're still using the iPhone X.

What a gorgeous view from your window Mulburry, the snow makes it even more picturesque.

How's the knee this morning Ginger, hopefully not as painful.

It's nice that you're getting a couple of days away from your volunteer position dill, I wouldn't feel bad at all for not filling in when they called. Hard to believe another year has flown by, but out with the old and in with the new tomorrow.

Did you get all that snow they forecast Jude, maybe another day of knitting for you?

I went out to the farm yesterday as Corey was out and about with the tractor and plow. He does a few of the area lanes, mostly for some of the older neighbors who don't have tractors either. The country roads are skating rinks from all the freezing rain we've been getting, but I made it there and back without any problem.

ABC, do you ever plan to put a home on your property?

Rava, I hope your flight was uneventful and you're home without bringing any pesky germs home from the flight!

Mul, those are awesome pictures. That's a beautiful setting for Christmas.

Dill, enjoy your extended vacation and try not to feel guilty.

Jude, sounds like you're going to get plenty of knitting time the next couple days. Do you knit while you watch TV?

Off to PT this morning. The torture is definitely necessary for a positive outcome and thats my goal! I'll take another day!

                        HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE!
