Yes ....... it's still there. Visiting has been suspended in my mother's nursing home.
She & her room mate have it. As have about 20 others. No panic at all just isolate & stop the spread.
She has no symptoms at all.

@mollyka
Molls if Joe has it - you probably have it too ?
Did he pick it up back at the ranch in Dublin ?
Seems to be a lottery as to who will get sick with it.

YS settled in but we still worry it won't last. How could it when he is back exactly where he was - doing the same things ?
I really believe a total change of scenery is needed.
For example I said before on here that due to timing - my 'new' kitchen never saw me drinking so it held no triggers for me.
But coming from the bubble of treatment centre and life exactly the same is dangerous imo.
Agree Satz, what’s the aftercare like from this place? If not a change of scene, he needs a project or something to keep him occupied. Would he take on the paint job for you? Kill two birds with the same stone.

Morning,
Well you couldn't make this up. Mr. JC went to visit his dad last night and pa-in-law is awake and just finished his dinner and he was coherent. :egad:
Saying that he won't becoming home (or into a nursing home) in the near future as he needs some fat on his poor old bones and the doctors still don't know fully whats wrong with him...........he's 94. Once he's got that out of the way he'll be going into the same nursing home as Ma-in-Law.

I've never drunk in our kitchen although I did find an empty bottle of wine I'd hidden in my wardrobe when I was chucking stuff out earlier this year.

Morning everyone

This is all new Mary, only opened in June this year. The walkway is very well done with loads for kids to engage with. You don’t feel that you are up at such a height. It brings you to a tower and you walk in circles to get to the top. Views are amazing and then you have the option to either walk down or pay €2 and come down the slide. Huge queues during the summer as you can imagine all the kids wanted the slide.

I’m in awe of the sky dive too, have never done anything like that. No more ideas regarding the pears Molly. Hope Joe feeling better today. Men don’t make good patients.

Waves to everyone else.

Yes we've been to Avondale Rustop, but years ago, a couple of times with the kids and my folks. But I don't remember those tall bridges. Def will make sure we get there next summer.

How's your FIl @JackieClaire??

And how's YS at home now @satz123? Hope he's settling back in.

Good morning everyone

Hope all dogs washed, doors painted and things ok with YS and JC’s in-laws.

Absolutely horrible morning here and the traffic was brutal. Did go out for walk as none of the dogs got a walk yesterday and two days for the big fella would be too much. Poor hubby trying to work from home. Visitors gone west, nice visit and good to be doing normal stuff again.

Morning from Mrs Doom and Gloom,
Mr JC was at the hospital and Pa-in-law won't be coming home or going to the nursing home. He's dying and back to his coma.( no polite way to put it).

Ma-in-law settling into the nursing home nicely and asked Mr. JC to get her heated curlers from their house.

After Mr. JC visited we jumped in the car and drove along the sea front. A lovely couple of hours not talking about about in-laws just watching the waves and wondering who in their right minds would go surfing in the bitter cold. There were loads of them. I suppose they're dedicated to their choice of surfing.

starty............give Chilli a hug from us.

Worth a trip midweek Satz, Rosie would love it. Only opened in June and queues were crazy during summer.

Had a lovely morning in Beyond the Trees in Avondale, Rathdrum. Have your gang been there Mary? Very impressive and no crowds. Cooking dinner now for them and they are gone in morning. Nice to be doing normal stuff again.
