No hiking today. I did take a bike ride though. Viola and I are going to Tucson tomorrow. Going to meet my friend Doug from Miami whose son Todd is graduating from University of Arizona with his Doctorate. I'll be staying in JW Marriott at Starr Pass in Tucson. BTW, Viola has people that do that stuff like mowing lawns, putting out bins, and general dusting :H I throb your mushrooms. I do.

Alright I guess I owe you girls. Viola gave me a watch. Its an Omega Seamaster SS & 18K Gold automatic. Expensive. I was shocked. Didn't know what to do. I thanked her of courseIt's still in the box w/ all the tags and stuff. Not sure what to do as it intrudes on my comfort level. Thoughts Undies???
I'll take a pic if I keep it, when I get back from Tucson. Quick responses are welcome. I see her in a few hoursOutside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

Ahhh, I forgot to show you Undies the Ubeaut reversing camera thingy I had put on. As the back of the ute if fairly high, a kid could be there and I wouldn't see. So had this installed. Activated when you engage reverse gear... the mirror splits into half camera, half mirror. You can see the extra view. This was taken in my sloping driveway... in the rearview mirrow you can just see the top ogf the happy car but in the camera part you see the whole lot. Works well in the dark too.
Definitely worth the money.

Shit ... it's getting worse ...
Now if we could combine Techies spoofy watch with Raggsy's spoofy mirror and list them as a combined "Buy Now" deal on ebay, we could all be holidaying in bloody Barbados for a month ...

Quick enough? It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.

You know Techie, a few months ago a good friend did the same thing to me.... gave me a rather expensive watch, probably for no other reason than he likes me and wanted me to have a lovely gift.
I guess what you do is accept it with thanks, wear it so she knows you like it, look up the time often in her company, and take her out to dinner. Don't feel crowded. Don't feel obligated to reciprocate. Ummm, by the way, do you know how to tell the time using a watch with hands?
