My son-in-law, D1’s husband, bought a sauna kit too! He got it from Canada -right before the tariff nonsense started, so before a price increase. He got it all assembled already, right next to their pool!

The U.S. healthcare system is a mess, and a rip-off.

My air conditioner died yesterday. I have someone coming out today to look at it. I’m sure it is gone through. This condo is a money pit.

I had to get little sis to the hospital early yesterday for her stent placement so I forgot to check in! It all went well but we were there from 8a until 5p. Now I turn around and go back today. Lol

Yes and yes. We haven't gotten that much hiking in unfortunately, between the hot weather and me not always feeling well. Hopefully we can get a couple in on this cooler stretch of days coming up though. Good luck with the surgery, hopefully you'll be hiking again before long!

Good morning Cafe. Long day yesterday and the beach traffic was horrible so it took quite a while to drive home. But we will turn around and do it again in about 2 weeks but will probably sleep over. Ginger, how did your surgery go? Slo, I am so sorry about the AC going up. That is a real pain and costly. Hope everyone has a good and sober Thursday. This is quite the sauna lol. They had an option for extra money for them to assemble it but it was quite expensive so Corey thought we could do it. Might have been better to get them to do it lol. We did manage to get the outside all done so there's just the inside to finish up today.

I am so angry at myself for not taking that condo! Cowboy and you all were right; if it won’t bankrupt me, then do it!
That said, this one would have likely sat too long, and needed multiple price drops, and I would’ve had to own two places for awhile.
But, I need a new A/C now, and the washer is going, a window pane is going…I will be endlessly putting a lot of money into this older one that I don’t even like.
I made the wrong decision 10-11 days ago, and wish I would have gone for it! She offered me a good price! Now it has sold for way more!
Now, the work of letting it go and moving on…
Real estate is a rough game!

Slo, you are going to have to stop beating yourself up over that condo. You made a good decision for yourself, IMO. It sounds to me like you would have been putting yourself in a nerve-wracking position if you had gone forward and bought that one when you weren't really ready. Don't worry, it wasn't meant to be but that doesn't mean something else won't be coming along that is meant to be!
