Good morning Cafe. Sounds like we have all had mice issues at some point. Our neighbors cat got out of the house and has not been seen for 2 days. It’s an elderly couple who are devastated. I hear them walking around the condo unit calling the cats name. So sad. I doubt it will ever be found. We have way too much wildlife here for a domestic cat to be wandering around. Mul, your picture was beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Hope everyone has a good day. 24 more please and thank you.

Mulburry, thanks for taking the time to give us a glimpse of your part of the world. Awesome.

Rava, I can't imagine how a mouse got into the dishwasher! LOL! I've had my share of mouse misadventures though. It's amazing what those little critters can do.

Cowboy, I guess don't understand the whole mocktail thing. I'm too much of a penny pincher to pay the extra that I assume they would be. Of course, I'm only guessing. I haven't been a part of that scene in many years.

I'll join you in another day of freedom, Jude.

Great pic Mulburry, such gorgeous country!

Glad you're home safe and sound Slo.

We don't have any mice here at the house, but I definitely have traps set for them in the camper at the farm.

Waves to the rest of the crew!

Yup it's one of my favorite quick / easy hikes in the area (45min up, 30min down; 10min drive out of town) but has a great viewpoint and really feels like your up in the mountains. It's also not well known or listed on any of the main are a trail guides, so most of the time I have the whole mountain to myself... except for the occassional deer or bear, haha.

Good morning folks. I have had mice in the house, but the cats keep us rodent free. The problem is that they don't kill the mice, they bring them to the bathtub and play with them. I have to catch the little critters then set them outside.

I'm in for another 24 hours of peace...

Ha! That must confuse your cats when you do that, Jude! LOL I wonder what they think in their little cat minds....

On my way to work this morning. The drive is patchy ice and fog so I must give myself extra time.

24 more please and thank you.

Mul, your pic made me a little homesick for the mountains.

What a stunning “private” hiking area you have found, Mulberry. And so close by!

Rava, any chance your neighbors found their cat?

                            Jude, that’s a true cat-and-mouse game!

Dill, yes; icy & slippery out here in the Midwest USA. I slipped a few times out there, but thankfully didn’t fall.
Had my brain training appointment, and also blood work done to check thyroid function. Then drove out to the small town that has a cobbler, to pick up my shoes. (I need a 1/2” extra sole thickness on the left to make up for the extra leg length difference on the right from the knee replacement revision.) I like driving out in the country, so it was nice.

Hi to all as we go for another 24 hours!

I have to bring one of my cats to the vets today to recheck some bloodwork, but other than that my day is open. I'm starting to get the winter blahs which is typical for me this time of year. I have noticed that the days are getting longer, which gives me hope that Spring is not too far away.

                              24 more please...

I'm feeling the winter blahs too, Jude. It's funny you brought it up. I was thinking yesterday that we are probably halfway through the winter. And the light seems to be changing and seems springlike at times. It won't be long now!

24 more for all of us please and thank you.
