        Re nurses taking stuff (drugs) home I can remember taking mandrax home after night duty --slept well we had no checks on those drugs then. I would have been appalled if I had realised the danger.

        It was the done thing back in the day and no-one realised the implications I reckon. Scared shit now. My trust would do you for taking milk and butter off the wards never mind drugs!

            Evening,

            Funny, i was just thinking about getting another pressure cooker (after I forgot to put on the slow cooker). I burnt the last one. But, in its short life, I loved it. Love all gadgets. Looking forward to the Bridge dinner plan this week..

            My car battery is flat.. sigh..but I hit mile 20 today, surprised my legs still function. We were running along, discussion about getting a mini bus for our day out (post marathon). Normally Im v guarded, but the words just came out - sure I dont drink, I'll drive! No shock, no questions, they all just said, brilliant, no bus so.
            lesson = no one really gives a shit if we drink or not!

                      Jeez you lot are physically active. You put me to shame.
                      RC I'll do you something in the pressure cooker. So far Mary we've had no-stir risotto, goulash, chops and soup. And that was just the weekend.
                      I am a bit scared of it actually.
                      If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

                            Phoned the beggars in the end...........within the hour was quoted an hour and a half ago. We have however found (while tidying out the sideboard) my great-grandma's Holy Communion prayer book.
