Good morning Cafe. Kinda quiet here without cowboy. Looking forward to seeing the progress on the cabin. Dill, I wish your granddaughter a good school year ahead! So exciting. I remember those days, filling out the emergency cards, school shopping, etc. Seems so long ago. Time flies. We are headed out today to meet some friends for lunch. Went to the movies last night with a group of ladies to see It Ends with Us. Good chick flick. Wishing everyone a great a sober day. 24 more please and thank you.

Rava, thanks for the chick flick moving recommendation. I'll make sure to watch it with my sisters in September on our fall sister trip.

Enjoying the cool coastal weather and family time. Finished our first sister project. I made this for our front door window panel.

I worked in a school office the entire time my boys were in school. It was always fun to see the smiling faces that first week! Then things got real. Lol

I'll take another day of freedom!

Hahaha, just my own personal lingo for a really smokey day, like where you can see the smoke a hundred yards away and can smell it something fierce as well. We haven't had anything close to that here yet. Totally clear (smoke free) day today in fact, nice and cloudy and cool too!

Yup, like most of you I am burdened with this as well (but on the otherhand, wouldn't life be dull if you couldln't even enjoy sweets?). I still indulge a bit but just try to minimize it as much as I can. As long as I can keep my weight steady at a healthy level now (after losing a hundred pounds) I feel like I'm doing ok. Besides, what's a little bit of sugar compared to a whole lot of alcohol (which is much more damaging in many more ways).

Wow Mulburry, you lost100 pounds? That's great! How did you do it? Congrats! It's taken me 6 months to lose 10 pounds even though I've cut out a lot of bad things. I guess it's just going to take me awhile to lose the weight, but they say that by losing the weight slowly, you are more likely to keep it off. We shall see...

24 more for all of us please...

I am impressed and happy for you losing that extra weight, Mul. I bet you feel really good! Jude, the 10 lbs. I dropped took me about 6 months too. I really didn't want to have to buy bigger sizes, so I had to bite the bullet! I'm glad I did. I am going to continue to work at it. I have been hankering for an ice cream sundae or a chocolate malt tho. Haven't had one all summer. I do plan on indulging at least once before the warm weather is gone.

The wasted calories in in drinking are definitely not advised! 24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

Back from the lake safe and sound! We finished up the house wrap, got the door and windows in, all the soffit j-trim up, soffit on both gable ends done, and even managed to get the door handle and dead bolt installed.

Great job on losing the weight to all of you that are trying, I don't imagine it's easy to do.

That's quite the impressive window covering Ginger, I can even imagine what it looks like with the sun shining on it unless of course it's a north facing window.

I remember how excited our kids were when school resumed after the summer holidays, new clothes, school supplies, and seeing all their friends again. I also remember how expensive it was outfitting the four of them on their return to school lol.

Good morning Cafe. thanks Mul for clearing up the smoke out term. LOL. Ginger I LOVE that window hanging. Is that beads and chicken wire in a frame? It looks so cool and I can just imagine the sunlight shining thru it with all the sparking beads! We are headed to hear a band play at a local family friendly restaurant. I will be drinking Diet Coke for sure. Hope everyone has a great and sober day. 24 more please.

                          The cabin looks great, ABC.

Mul, 100 lbs! That's so awesome.

Rava, yes, chicken wire with beads and crystals. I'll put it in our front door window that gets sun this time of year until around 130p. Can't wait to see it in place.

                          Enjoying the cool beach weather!
