Good morning Cafe. Jude, I hope you have a great time with your sister trip. Flying to Wyoming and then driving to Florida is quite the travel! At least you dont have to worry about drinking and all that negative energy! Slo, sounds like an interesting meeting with the medium. Glad your family came through to give you some comfort. Cowboy, two week will be here quickly! Hope all goes well. My mouth is still killing me. The dentist said the stitches were intact. Boy I dont remember being this miserable when I had my wisdom teeth out at 19 but having this done in my 60s is much different. I do think he should have given me a strong pain reliever other than tylenol. I was so miserable the other night I was in tears. Of course my dental office is closed on friday. So I am hoping today will be a better day. Hope everyone has a good and sober day. 24 more please and thank you.

When I have a sleepless night I focus on the comfort, safety and rest and try to feel grateful too, Jude. In the summer I focus on the night sounds. Often times I will put on something to listen to and eventually I find I drift off. But sometimes it takes a really long time.

Cowboy, good for you moving forward with the dental care. It's not pleasant but it's necessary.

I too noticed you posting very early a couple times, Jude. I hate the insomnia we get at this age too. Last night I was awake for a couple hours from 2-4 am, but finally drifted back off. I scrolled a bunch.
I hope you sleep well on your upcoming vacation! -probably will in that situation!
I bet Ginger is sleeping well between her fun adventures!

I remember when you had the boat, Dill, and would take the grandchildren out boating.

Oh Rava, that sounds so miserable. Today has to be a better day. And brave Cowboy is next.

I’m looking into getting a couple few windows replaced here in this condo. Geez, is that expensive!
I’m touring an Independent Living facility near here today, in case that is an option worth exploring as I age, and cope with pain & mobility problems.
I might be able to meet my daughter and her friend and their toddlers at a hotel water park today. Now that would be nice! I get lonely.

The mine tour in Tombstone was great. The guide was very entertaining. ABC, you'd love it if you like history! Fun fact.... there are over 500 miles of mine shafts under the town!

Back to Gold Canyon today! Cyrus has been a good boy and found a good lookout spot while here. Cats are funny!

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the mine pictures Ginger. Looks like an interesting trip! I have been up since 4 am with tooth pain. My dentist did not leave an emergency number. Of course the paperwork’s says call right away if you have any of these symptoms. I am up because I cant lay in bed with a throbbing tooth and my medicine is not due for 3 more hours. I have decided to go to the local walk in medical clinic and hopefully get some antibiotics and real pain meds. They open at 8. 3 more hours to go. UGH. Hope this situation gets figured out before I jump off a cliff! (No worries, Florida is flat). Will check in when I feel better. Cowboy, let this be a lesson to you, get an emergency number for the office just in case!)

Geez Rava, that really sucks about the pain from your dental surgery. I would definitely go to the emergency clinic today as it sounds as though the tooth has become infected. I also would call the office even if they're closed, most places have an emergency number to call on the answering machine. I don't think that I've ever had stitches after having a tooth extraction, even for one of the big rear molars. Hope that you can find someone to help you out, dental pain is the worst!

I just hate that you are suffering so much with this pain, Rava. I hope you can get some relief ASAP. I'm glad there are no cliffs in Florida. Hang in there.

It sounds like you are having a great time on your trip, Ginger. Thanks for the pics. I know it seems odd to enjoy mine tours, but I really do. I love the historical info and the atmosphere is so dramatic. I am always so glad to get back up and out and into the light.

Slo, I was surprised that you remembered I used to have that boat. And yes, windows are expensive. Everything is these days! Touring the assisted living facility sounds like a good idea. I look forward to hearing how it went.

Thanks for the great pics Ginger, it looks like it was quite the underground adventure! It's amazing the places cats can get to, height sure doesn't seem to bother Cyrus, he looks right at home up there lol.

I imagine changing a few windows would get quite expensive Slo, not just the cost of the windows, then there's the installation. It's probably a good idea to check out some assisted living spaces now if you think you might be headed in that direction, not sure about down there but up here there are waiting lists to get into them. Enjoy your time with your daughter and g-kids if you get a chance to meet up with them.

I'm expecting some type of pain Rava, not sure how bad it will be when getting every tooth pulled but thanks for the heads up. Hopefully you'll get some relief today after you visit the ER, there shouldn't be that much pain by now.

Are you counting the days till your trip begins Jude, I'm sure you're excited about getting away to see your sisters! Have you been finding things to do with all your spare time now?

Don't forget the time change tonight y'all, I sure hope one day it will be done away with.

No time change in AZ so we miss it! It changes back and forth while we are here. It's so dumb to keep this arcane practice, IMO.

Rava, please call the office number like Jude said. Let us know what they say too. Is a dry pocket a possibility? Thinking of you.

This winter I've had my credit card and my bank account compromised! If you do mobile banking in any form, go in today and set up alerts, do them all! In both cases, i knew within minutes something was up and was able to shut them down. Bad people suck!

Dental pain really is the worst, Rava! Good plan to get to an urgent care for now.

Oh that’s right, we lose an hour tonight.

I guess I had better look into alerts for my online banking and Discover card. Although I’m not sure what that means, beyond 2-factor authentication or whatever. Thankfully you caught them both right away, Ginger!

I did go to the water park with my daughter, her friend, and the kids. It was so nice to be there and to be with them! Except my built-up sandal was shredding my foot (can’t go barefoot since I’m crooked), so had to get out early. But at least I could go in for awhile!

You are right about the waiting lists at the independent living facilities, Cowboy. I found that out when I toured two local ones, then nixed that idea. Then I put down a shocking amount of money for four new windows, despite a good “deal” going on, as well as a couple more price cuts. Guess here is where I’ll stay.

Just doing laundry and some bathroom & kitchen cleaning today.
