Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Good morning Cafe. Safe travels today Jude. Hope you are feeling back to normal. Dill, it’s a true story. Just google it. 140 pound tuna caught from a kayak in NC. There are pictures of it and the guy literally put it on the front of his jeep and drove it to the weighing station. It is quite the fish story! Hope everyone has a great Friday. 24 more please and thank you.

Safe travels, Jude!
Cowboy, with all the spring rains we've had, all the ponds, streams and rivers are way, way up! It's so nice to go out and walk around the pond, now that it is back to the proper level. Now, if we could just keep those rascally heron away! Glad you avoided the expense of upgrading the hearing aids. Mr. D is dependent upon his and we know from experience how expensive it is.
Ginger, I'm glad you're finally settling back into a more regular routine.
24 more please and thank you.
Dill

Have a safe flight home Jude, I imagine Mr J and the critters will be just as excited to see you as well!
We've been having some beautiful weather so I think today I'll get in some yard work, at least get the grass all raked and maybe even fertilized.Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. I am here now at my daughter & son-in-law’s house! I love being with this little family. And I’m further south, where there’s budding trees and tulips; signs of Spring.
I would capsize the kayak for sure if I tried to fish from it!
That’s good that your hearing aids just needed a tuneup, Cowboy; and you got in some time with Amanda besides.
Mul, my daughter D2 didn’t know if she had food poisoning or a sickness, but, yesterday was diagnosed with C-diff!! Well, she had been on Augmentin for her sinus or whatever infection, so this may be a side effect of that; and also she was exposed to a patient at work with C-diff.
Safe travels, Jude! Hi to Dill & Ginger.Once a pickle, never a cucumber again.

Ouch! Slo, c-diff is horrible. Mul, if you aren't 100% you might want a check up.
Jude, safe travels! May your flight be smooth and uneventful.
ABC, enjoy you day outside with yard work!
Rava, off to Google that fish story. Hey Mul an Dill.
Yesterday was glorious. I had the day to myself while hubby golfed. That means no TV. Lol But alas, today is back to crazy sans AL for sure! I'll take another

Ginger, don't you just love those days when you have the house to yourself? A little alone time is good for the soul.
It's so good to be home. I'm listening to all of the birds singing this morning and there's a lot more of them since I left a month ago. Even though it's raining and 40

I have heard a rumor that we are actually going to have a nice day today, weather-wise. I am hoping so. I need to prune my butterfly bushes and do a few other chores in the yard. I've been putting them off because the weather has been too chilly, too wet, too windy...... I'm a bigger wimp than I used to be. Put it down to age.
Jude, sorry you lost part of your post. Very frustrating. Glad you're back home, safe and sound.
Hope we all have another 24 hours of freedom.
Dill

I’m still enjoying quiet, gentle time with this sweet little family! I sleep well, because I’m not all alone. D3 and her hubby have a true partnership. They participate completely equally in caring for their children (2 y/o boy, 8 month old girl), cooking, and tending to their house. It’s a wonderful thing to see.
My HB when I was married ran the TV all the time too, Ginger. D3 & her HB don’t want the little kids having too much screen time, so it’s off most of the time here.
Glad you’re home, Jude! And finally the wind & rain are dying down for you, Dill.
Hope you feel better soon, Mul!
