Good morning Cafe and hope all those with snow don’t have to shovel too much. It sure is pretty to look at from a distance! Busy week full of doctor appointments UGH. Is that all old people do? Went to the pool yesterday and floated around with my Diet Coke. The longer I can go without drinking hopefully the easier it will become. Hope everyone has a good and sober day.

Keeping my fingers crossed and sending prayers that the government shut down ends soon, Jude and Rava, for the sake of Thanksgiving travelers and for all of our sakes. Jude, I heard on the news that Farmer's Almanac is ending it's run. Its final publication will be 2026. I'm sad to see it go.

Ginger, I wondered why your post the other day ended mid sentence!

Cowboy, how's that shovel holding up?

I woke up to a white landscape this morning and the snow is still falling. I wonder if this is a sign of what kind of winter we are facing, because this is quite early for us here. Might need a bigger snow shovel!

    Not today.

Rava, hopefully this government shutdown will end soon, and that you won't have any issues with your flight in December.

Cowboy, we're expecting 3-6 inches of lake effect snow tonight and tomorrow. According to the Farmer's almanac our winter is going to be cold and snowy. We shall see...

Dill, hope that you can find a specialist soon!

    Waves to Ginger and Mul!

    24 more please...

I see my post got cut off yesterday. Darn!

Rava, maybe skip going home this year? Would that be possible? It's a mess at the Phoenix Airport right now.

Waves to all! I'll take another day of freedom!

Good morning Cafe and thanks for the marvelous breakfast cowboy. I appreciate your efforts making Sunday breakfast. Dill, I hope you find a specialist that doesnt take months to see. I am due for my cortisone shot this week on my hand and it cant come soon enough. Getting old is not for sissy’s as they say. Mul I hope your leak has been fixed. Cowboy I think snow would be fun for about 10 minutes. Then I remember I am in Florida and it’s not gonna happen. I am already getting stressed about traveling by air in December. The flights are all messed up. My daughter sat on the tarmac yesterday for 3.5 hours in the plane with no air conditioning and 3 small kids because they were waiting to take off due to high traffic and less employees. That makes me want to cancel it all. Hope this shut down ends soon!! Hi to Jude and Ginger. Hope everyone has a great and sober day. 24 more please and thank you.

We had about 3" of snow Jude, not too bad to shovel. Thankfully we didn't get anymore last night.

Yes, this does seem to be an earlier than usual start for winter Ginger. I don't mind the snow, it's the extreme cold I don't like. Hopefully the Old Farmer's Almanac is right as it says our winter will be mild but with above average snowfall.

    Waves to Rava and dill!

Cold here today and possible snow. So I guess I better pull out the snow shovel too!

Thank you for your good wishes, Jude. So far, so good and I intend to do whatever will keep it that way!

Cowboy, I actually don't know yet what the treatment will be because I haven't even found a specialist yet! I asked my doc to make a referral to a particular practice that I had recommended to me by a friend. I looked them up online and they said they were taking new patients. But I hadn't heard from them yet so I called their office. The receptionist said they are not taking new patients because the head of the practice is active in the reserves and he is being deployed. So, I'm going to have to figure something else out. It takes a while to get in with specialists, so I'm going to get back on it Monday. Luckily, I'm feeling OK.

    Hi Rava and Ginger!

24 more please and thank you.

Good morning all! Cowboy, looks like your shovel started the season a little early. We're supposed to get some snow tomorrow and Monday, but no one seems to know how much we will get. Guess that it'll be a surprise!

Dill, glad that your symptoms are mild, and I hope that with the right treatment those kidney stones will be history.

Rava, good idea to stay away from the stores with wine at every end cap. Out of sight, out of mind as they say.

    Waves to Ginger and Mul!

    Not today...

Rava, isn't it frustrating that every end cap has a display of booze. Jeez! Do whatever it takes to keep it away from site.

ABC, boy howdy, you've already got winter! It was 50

Hopefully they can find the source of the leak and get it repaired soon Mulburry, you don't need to add replacing your bathroom ceiling to the problem. And glad you kept your head about you instead of in a bottle.

Will they try and dissolve them dill or use ultrasound to break them up, or are those options for gall stones, I don't remember.

I think I'll go with the Ranger as well Ginger when and if I decide to get a new truck. Hopefully it'll be available in a hybrid if I do go that route.

Adam's truck is a bi newer F350 Jude, and it's also a gas guzzler and that's why we use my truck when we go to the cabin to work lol. He's going to sell it and buy a Maverick when all the building is done. He still needs it until he doesn't need to move the 5th wheel or haul material on the trailer. I told him he could use my truck if he had to trailer anything, but since I don't have a 5th wheel hitch, it can't be used for that.

Do whatever you need to do to keep that AV voice at bay Rava, and one day it won't matter what grocery store you walk into.

We're not hunting today, the roads are in terrible condition after the snow and freezing rain we got yesterday afternoon. No sense Adam driving in those conditions to get out here just for a day's hunt. And it looks like I've got another date with the snow shovel this morning, I don't think the leaf blower will move the wet frozen snow.
