Looks like I'm the first one up in the Cafe! I'll get the coffee on and read the news as I await the Number One Chef!
Glad you are having a wonderful AF time with your sisters, Ginger! Are they pleased to be experiencing the freedom and clarity of being sober? Hangover-free mornings are a gift that keep on giving!
Not much happening here. I am in the beginning stages of preparing for a Family Reunion event to take place here in July. It's daunting but I'm glad I committed to it. It was at my younger brother's request. He is my only living sibling at this point. I live the most centrally and we have lots of room, so we're the logical place. We have some work ahead, that's for sure!
24 more for all of us here please and thank you.

Fresh Spring sugar snap peas sounds delicious, Dill! Hopefully the dry weather will last so the hay can recover some.
Rava, you must be exhausted after the mud fest.
Jude, looks like you’ll have to go back to “fifty-five” rather than “55”…
It must feel good to have a job well done and to be back home, Cowboy.
Sounds fun, Ginger!
I stopped calling my sister to wait and see if she would call me, but she hasn’t called me or talked to me at all.
My foot is doing better after he modified this one shoe. I am reliant on this one pair of shoes now, for at least a month or more, until new orthotics and new shoes can be made and adjusted. It’s such a relief to be walking a little more, with less pain!
I am going to a niece’s dance recital today. I could carpool with my sister, but it seems that she is blowing me off, so I will likely go alone.
Young Daughter is going to stay with me tomorrow and Monday, after she flies home from Oregon! I so look forward to that.

We did finish up seeding late yesterday afternoon! I packed everything up and headed back to Veg in time to have supper with Bubba. I'll go back out next week to give the camper a good cleaning and drain the water heater but I'm sure glad to be back in my comfy chair this morning. I've got a big pile of laundry to do and I really need to have Bubba cut my hair lol.
Have a great day everyone and I'll catch up on all the happenings tomorrow.

Good morning Cafe. Yesterday’s field day was a muddy mess. The kids of course had a great time! Sun is shining today and no plans to do anything. Hope everyone has a great day. 24 more please and thank you!

Hmmm, Jude. It looks like you still have that same problem with the disappearing content? Grrrr.
Finally, a sunny morning! Just in time to dry the lawn so we can mow. All this wet weather has been terrible for the hay crops but it's been good for our sugar snap peas in the garden!
24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

I figured out how to clear the cache. I went to my history and hit the "delete all" button which clears the history, cookies and the cache.I do this regularly so I don't think that it's the cause of my lost posts.
Slo, maybe you can do the same on your ipad. I've never heard of a pedorthist, but I hope that they can get you some relief.
It's 55

I don’t actually know what “clearing the cache” means, but I use an iPad rather than a computer. I do need to refresh the page often.
Glad that rain didn’t cancel “Field Day” for your grandsons, Rava. Hope you have a good day with them!
I saw the pedorthist (never knew there was such a thing!) yesterday that my daughter (an O.T.) recommended to me. He plaster casted my feet for new orthotics. I have such high hopes that he can fix my foot problem caused by the other clinic, with their poorly-fitting orthotics and even worse built-up shoe. It will take awhile to get all the pieces in place (orthotics, shoes, sole) and then correctly adjusted, and then allow for healing…but I sure hope my foot can heal, and that I can walk more normally and without pain one day!
Such wonderful trips you have planned with your sisters, Ginger & Jude!
Hope you have a good last day in the field, Cowboy.
Waves to Dill & Mull too. And as Guitarista used to say, “It’s just Friday; not a ticket to Boozeville!

Cowboy, hope that the rain holds off so that you can finish seeding. The sun finally came back into town and it's so nice to see it again. The weekend looks damp and cool, but next week it's supposed to be sunny with warmer temps. Yay!
Ginger, thanks for the advice regarding clearing the cache; I'll have to ask Mr. J about it as he's pretty good with computer stuff.Enjoy your trip to the beach with your sisters. My sisters and I are doing the same thing this July and I can't wait.
Twenty four more for all of us please!

Hi to everyone today. It’s Friday, which used to be my biggest drinking day. Saturday mornings were recovery days. I am so glad these times are behind me now. Today I am attending 2 grandsons field day, then bringing them home for a few hours of play. Ants are still here but by Monday the bug man comes! He will be very welcome. It’s raining this morning and I sure hope it clears up. Wishing everyone a sober Friday! 24 more please and thank you.

Hopefully the exterminator will be able to get rid of the ants, and keep them away Rava.
Have a safe trip and enjoy your time with you sisters Ginger.
It should have been our last day of seeding today but it's sprinkling a bit of rain this morning. Not sure how much we got but I don't think it's very much. We might get to finish up today yet.
Waves to the rest of the gang...
