    Goog morning everyone!

Cowboy, it's hard to say how many will be here. It probably won't be an extremely large number as we have never done this before and everybody is scattered, kids are qrown and on their own, etc. At this point I have a commitment of 30ish. I don't think there will be fewer, and likely there will be more than that. But I'm going to assume 30-40 for the sake of planning. Most of my brothers are deceased as are my parents, but the desire for a reunion came primarily from the nieces and nephews.

Yes, Slo, Rava and Jude, the whole idea of the reunion is overwhelming. We are not getting any younger here and there will be a lot to do! In the end it will be worth it, for sure.

Lots of hay down but ours is still waiting. The farmer friend contacted us yesterday and said he'd get to us as soon as he could. Yesterday he sent Mr. D a text telling him that this soy beans were being planted by a drone! Mr. D dropped everything and went over to see that for himself!

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

Good morning Cafe. Hope everyone has a good Monday! Ginger, yes I have Terro traps. I use them in Florida as well. Pretty sure these ants are in the front wall of my house. If I spray under the bay window sill they fall out dead. Time to hire the professional guys. This place literally sat empty for months at a time so I am not surprised that the ants built up inside the walls. This mess will be over soon. He comes today and I couldnt be happier! 24 more please and thank you!

I did enjoy the dance recital. My 12-year-old niece is quite a talented dancer, like her mother (baby sis) before her. I just enjoy the music and colors and rhythm everything, plus it’s something that I can do with my somewhat disabled body (sit!). My twin sister did contact me, but only for carpooling. I enjoyed time with family, because I hate being alone.

I don’t have a new shoe or a new orthotic yet; he just modified an old shoe and the old orthotic, so that I can get by better with them for now.

That was a yummy, peppery breakfast! Yes, see how harvest goes first, Cowboy. It’s June now, so I guess it’s teeth time…

That’s exciting about your family reunion, Dill! Very daunting though to be hosting, but you do have the perfect property for it.

I got my filthy condo power washed and the windows washed yesterday. (I sure bought a filthy place! They hid all the filth behind all the staging and decorating.) I washed the screens and the window…bases? -where the window closes onto. The dirty smell in here when I walk in has now decreased by half.

Ginger, why no drinking? Is it because two of you don’t drink, so the other (others?) goes along with it?

    Have an easy day, everyone!

Good morning Cafe. Cowboy, thanks so much for the wonderful breakfast. I have already put catchup and hot sauce on my eggs and hash browns! Ginger so glad you are having a great sisters weekend. No booze around takes all the bad decision making out of the equation! Dill, wow a family reunion at your place would terrify me. I am sure you can pull it off with your spread. Lots of fishing and playing for the younger ones! Slo, glad your new shoes are working so far until you get your new ones! Enjoy your recital with or without your sister. I agree with you, and wait to see if she calls you or not. Hi to Jude and Mul. Today we are going to walk down to the water and throw in our fishing camera. See what’s out there. Wishing everyone a great Sunday! 24 more please and thank you.

I'm going to bet those kids had a great time playing in the muddy fields Rava, not so much the parents who'll have to clean the uniforms though lol.

I know how much you love spending time with your sisters Ginger, enjoy every minute with them while you still can.

Good to hear that the new shoe is helping Slo, hopefully you can get a few pair so that you can enjoy getting out and walking around more. Have fun at the dance recital and enjoy your time with your daughter.

I'm not sure if I'll help next year again or not Jude, I'm just thinking about getting through harvest this year lol. Hopefully the tech people will be able to come up with some answers for you.

Lots of planning and preparation for a family reunion dill, but I think your place would make a great site for one. How many are you expecting and will it be a camping style of reunion?

Cowboy, glad that the seeding is done so that you can spend time with Bubba again. Are you going to do it again next year?

Wow dill, having a family reunion is a lot of work but it's certainly worth it!

Slo, that's great that you have less foot pain with the new orthotics. One less ache to worry about!

I sent a message to one of the admins yesterday about my losing posts, so we shall see what goes on.

    Twenty-four more please...

Looks like I'm the first one up in the Cafe! I'll get the coffee on and read the news as I await the Number One Chef!

Glad you are having a wonderful AF time with your sisters, Ginger! Are they pleased to be experiencing the freedom and clarity of being sober? Hangover-free mornings are a gift that keep on giving!

Not much happening here. I am in the beginning stages of preparing for a Family Reunion event to take place here in July. It's daunting but I'm glad I committed to it. It was at my younger brother's request. He is my only living sibling at this point. I live the most centrally and we have lots of room, so we're the logical place. We have some work ahead, that's for sure!

24 more for all of us here please and thank you.

Fresh Spring sugar snap peas sounds delicious, Dill! Hopefully the dry weather will last so the hay can recover some.

Rava, you must be exhausted after the mud fest.

Jude, looks like you’ll have to go back to “fifty-five” rather than “55”…

It must feel good to have a job well done and to be back home, Cowboy.

    Sounds fun, Ginger!

I stopped calling my sister to wait and see if she would call me, but she hasn’t called me or talked to me at all.

My foot is doing better after he modified this one shoe. I am reliant on this one pair of shoes now, for at least a month or more, until new orthotics and new shoes can be made and adjusted. It’s such a relief to be walking a little more, with less pain!

I am going to a niece’s dance recital today. I could carpool with my sister, but it seems that she is blowing me off, so I will likely go alone.

Young Daughter is going to stay with me tomorrow and Monday, after she flies home from Oregon! I so look forward to that.

We did finish up seeding late yesterday afternoon! I packed everything up and headed back to Veg in time to have supper with Bubba. I'll go back out next week to give the camper a good cleaning and drain the water heater but I'm sure glad to be back in my comfy chair this morning. I've got a big pile of laundry to do and I really need to have Bubba cut my hair lol.

Have a great day everyone and I'll catch up on all the happenings tomorrow.
