Good morning Cafe. Mul, The beast is sneaking in taking advantage of your plumbing situation. Any excuse to get in there and drink. Hope you shut down those thoughts. Alcohol will NOT make it better. I hope you get this issue resolved soon! Dill I am sorry about your kidney stones but glad they found them while they are still small. Heading to the gym today for a bit then home to do nothing. I have been shopping at walmart and staying away from the wine section. I am avoiding the local grocery store due to wine bottles on every aisle cap. I have to wait until I am stronger to use the local grocery store. Hope everyone has a great and sober day. PS I hope this government shut down ends soon. Now they are canceling flights. That makes me nervous. 24 more please and thank you.

Mul, so sorry to hear you are being plagued by the leak problem. Plumbing issues are usually very frustrating and often difficult to resolve. Mr. D is the sort to fix most problems around here on his own, but when it comes to plumbing....he calls the professionals. Take it from me, you will be glad you did.

Jude, I have had some mild but annoying symptoms and one episode of hematuria that was upsetting. But so far for the most part, no pain. Finding a Urologist in a reasonable location drive-wise might be a headache tho! I'm working on it.

Ginger, Jeep Wrangler sounds like the perfect vehicle for you! Not much on tap for today, and definitely no alcohol!

Cowboy, makes sense you won't swap out trucks until you retire from the farming. It does give you something to look forward to for now.

Rava, no wine here so no "screaming thoughts" to drive me batty!

    24 more please.

Mul, hang in there! Sorry that you are having so much trouble with getting the leak fixed, but drinking won't solve the problem. You'll just wake up with a hangover the next day, which none of us want.

Cowboy, yes Mr. J's truck is a classic. We bought it from a man who only used it on his farm so it was in good shape with about 80,000 miles on it. It is a gas guzzler though, so we usually take my car whenever we need to go anywhere. Glad that you were able to get the garage door fixed. It seems like it's always something that needs repairing.

Dill, sorry to hear that you have kidney stones. Are you having any symptoms with them? Hopefully the urologist can treat the stones before they get any bigger.

    Waves to Rava and Ginger!

    24 more please...

God, i want a drink so bad right now, this never ending plumbing nightmare is driving me crazy. The (2nd time) fix they finally did today somehow made the problem worse, and then leak started coming down right over and all over our toilet this evening (from the upstairs apartment toilet). At least they still sent someone out here in the evenig to try to hopefully (knock on wood) finally fully fix the damn problem (the 6th time they've been here now). Luckily the plumber (and my brother) still being here is keeping me honest. Not tonight.

ABC, we bought the Maverick. If I had it to do over, I'd have gone with the Ranger. Mr G loves the Maverick and since it's his primary vehicle, I guess I'll let him keep it. Lol We averaged 38 miles to the gallon coming down, which was nice and made him even more convinced it was a great choice. I'll keep my Jeep Wrangler

My son has a 1999 F350 too, Jude. It's a diesel and he loves that beast. He says he'll never sell it because it's the only vehicle he owns he can tear apart and put back together to fix.

Rava, I need to look up bungee exercise. I'm picturing all sorts of strange things in my head.

Dill, glad you had a good volunteer day. I'm off to exercise and then not sure what's happening. I do know there will be no alcohol involved!

    I'll take another!

Mr J's truck is a classic Jude! He must keep it in pretty good shape for it still to be running. You don't see many older vehicles on the road today, they just don't build them like they used to.

My truck would just fit in the garage Rava if I took the canopy off. The canopy won't fit under the overhead door and even if I took the canopy off, the truck is so long that you wouldn't be able to walk in front or behind it once I got it in the garage.

I'll probably buy one more new truck dill once I quit farming. But I might just get by with this one as it's still in excellent shape. I just wish it would fit in the garage and not have to park it in the driveway all the time.

I don't remember if you guys got a Ranger or Maverick Ginger, how do you like it?

I had a good day yesterday, my first date with the snow shovel lol and then the spring for Bubba's door arrived from Amazon so I got it installed and the door working again. Now I'm wondering if I should have ordered the new doors or just waited till spring but I guess I'd have to order them sooner or later so this will keep me from putting it off any longer lol.

We keep our truck out in a barn building. It's too big for the garage. But we have two cars anyway and it's a two-car garage. We really don't take the truck on the road much. It's a gas guzzler, of course so mostly it is just a working truck here on the farm. Cowboy, do you have any serious thoughts about getting a new truck?

Jude, I have to make an appointment with a Urologist because I've apparently developed some kidney stones. Last week I had to do an ultrasound and that's when they found the little buggers. So now I have 3 doctors. I hope I don't collect any more!

Rava, the bungee class sounds like fun! Good idea keeping the house booze free. I can't have it in the house either or it will be constantly calling me.

Have you settled back in, Ginger?

24 more for all of us please and thank you.

Good morning Cafe. Cowboy and Jude, I hear you about the large trucks. There is a neighborhood near us and all the trucks are parked along the street because they dont fit into their cookie cutter garages. Our son brought home a brand new truck and when it didnt fit into his garage he took it back and got a smaller one. Lesson learned I guess. The bungee class was fun and I am a bit sore this morning. It was fun and I bought a pack of a few classes so I plan on going back a few times but it is really too expensive to make a habit of it. I will stick with the gym mostly. Nothing planned for today so I will hang around the house. No booze in here so no screaming thoughts to annoy me. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. 24 more please and thank you.

Rava, A bungee fitness class sounds like it would be a blast! Did you like it?

I have another doctor's appointment early this morning, seems like there have been a lot of them lately. I can remember when I only had one doctor but now you have to go to a different specialist for each body part.

Cowboy, Mr. J has a 1999 Ford F-350 and it is a beast! There's no way that it would fit in the garage! I hate driving it because it's like steering a tank through heavy traffic. Yikes! I'll stick with my Forester any day!

Late check in for me. I overslept this morning so had to hit the ground running to get to the volunteer job on time. All was well there though.

Rava, bungee fitness sounds quite interesting. Let us know how you get on with it!

Waves to Ginger, Jude, Cowboy and Mul!

It's a sunny Fall afternoon so I think I'll get out for a bit.

We're having the exact same weather Jude. Our temp is right around the freezing mark so I don't think it will make for icy roads.

You're never too old to try something new Rava!

The other side of the garage has room to store the new doors dill since my truck is too big to fit in. Once I get the new doors put in I'll work on getting heat put in. You can be sure the next truck I buy will be a bit smaller so that it can fit in lol.

    Waves to Ginger!
