Peachie, we don't get cyclones here in Ohio, but we are prone to tornados. They can be incredibly deadly and destructive. We usually have mild-ish winters in Southern Ohio, but this year is definitely out of the ordinary! I had some very vivid and unsettling dreams last night. Thankfully, that doesn't happen often to me. But I was in a very dark mood much of yesterday and I wonder if it's all of a piece.

Jude, so sorry you lost your post! Very frustrating.

Cowboy, I don't think they would let you in without the passport, so you better get busy and renew it so you can come next year!

Rava, is the weather back to normal for your area? We are going to be above average temps this week. Just above the freezing mark. Yay!! Long may it last. But I'm not getting my hopes up.

Your dinner sounded yummy Peachie, Bubba and I eat a lot of pork because of the price of beef. Everyone tells us that Australian beef is every bit as good and way way cheaper but the only place that carries it so far around here is Costco. Might have to make a trip in to give it a try.

Late check in here. I don't know how my morning got away from me so fast, but it sure did. The new computer is still not quite set up right, but these things take time. We'll get there. If not, It will go back to the store. It takes time working out if problems are real, or just me getting used to a new machine. Time will tell.

The weather continues to remain stubbornly cold. It got down to 2F overnight, but is now up to 22F as afternoon gets underway. I really don't mind anything

Hi Cafe. Ginger I've been telling my cats about Cyrus.They are very jealous. There is a
park close by to me with a lovely rotunda at the top which you can see the ocean. I used to go up there a lot at sunset and they would come too. They just loved the adventure . I had three then. My big fluffy Sam as well. I remember trying to get them all home. It was a hoot and took forever. There was an old deaf lady who lived close by and she used to watch their antics. She loved it.

Jude I am getting cabin fever too because of the heat. Goodness...you want to swap for awhile? Hope you and your sisters make it to the beach next summer. I swear I could live on a beach. My happy place.

Thanks for letting me know about the Super Bowl and you're right about early morning here Dill.

Anyhow our cyclone is causing a bit of bother up North so am watching on the weather channel.

Pork, potatoes, corn and gravy for dinner so will have your breakie in the morning AB. I'll just pop it in the microwave for a bit.

Ginger, what a fun get away for you Mr.G and Cyrus. I'm really itching to go someplace warm right about now. My sisters and I hope to rent a house on the beach this summer and I sure hope that we find something. Cabin fever has set in.

Dill, setting up a new computer is definitely not my thing. I'm lucky that Mr. J is really good at fixing electronics. Maybe he can work on your computer when we come over for the Superbowl.

Cowboy, I may complain a lot about the snow and cold, but as you said we are lucky that we rarely get severe weather like tornados and hurricanes. Something to be grateful for...
