Great news about the new condo Slo, is it in the same neighborhood? I'm sad to say the Oilers lost out in Game 6, so the Florida Panthers are back to back Stanley Cup Champions.

Not sure what all we have for wild berries around here Mulburry except for saskatoons and chokecherries. There should be an abundance of them this year since we didn't get any late frosts this year.

Sounds like you've had a very busy year techie! If your wife writes mysteries then I've probably read a few of her books. And good to hear you both were okay after your accident.

I spend a lot of evenings reading as well Rava, it's a nice way to relax and help me sleep.

I love watching the wildlife as well dill and must be pretty cool to see the twins cavort around with their mother.

Yes, hopefully we'll get back out to the cabin next weekend Ginger, Adam is hoping that he'll have it completed by the fall.

Good morning Cafe. Techie it sounds like you have been very busy. I wonder if I have read any of Mrs. Techies books. Glad you both were ok after your accident. Jude, I am so sorry about your dog. They are like family and it’s so hard to part with them. Slo I am very excited for your new condo. I bet it is full of light. I know your current condo does not bring you any joy. I hope it all works out for you. Ginger and Dill, the diamond painting is fun. I have had cataracts removed and use reading glasses and a little light pad under my work so I can see it better. Light pads are cheap less than 20.00 and really help bring out the canvas to make it easier to see. I am feeling good this week and starting to do new and different things in the evenings to keep the boozy thoughts out of my brain. Our neighborhood is in full swing so after dinner we have been taking our golf cart down to the pond with our kindles and reading for about an hour in the quiet. Grandsons spending the night tonight. Tomorrow will be 1 week booze free. My thoughts this week have not been full of shame and remorse and my general attitude is definitely improved. I will concentrate on the positives! Oh Jude, my condolences on the loss of your dog. The suddenness must make it really hard to process. My heart goes out to you.

Jod, Thank you for the assistance. I used the link and placed an order for the diamond art to try out with my granddaughter. One for me, and one for her.

Mul, we've had an abundance this year too. But on the down-side, we seem to have an abundance of ticks this year as well. Be careful out there if you are having the same! I have found 3 crawling on me in the last two weeks!

Do you all remember me mentioning a doe hanging close to the house and barn recently that we thought had given birth? Well, we finally saw the young and there were twins! She is still in the vicinity but ranging a little further now that they are more able to get around.

Hi All. I have spent time reading back and saddened by the loss of so many members. They may still be lurking and hope they decide to give an update status. Because I do not want to inundate you all with several pages of information, I have decided to bullet point my activity over the last year or so. I will follow up with a brief description of each bullet over the course of several weeks:

Cool and breezy today, might be a good strawberry picking day! No time for booze, so I'm in for another twenty four!

No srawberries unfortunately but sure seems like everything is starting real early around here this year: garden raspberries and dark gooseberries are in full swing (a real bomber crop) and currents starting to come; have also been finding/eating wild cherries and thimbleberries, salmon berries, black raspberries and wild (small) blackberries out in the bush!

Dill, am I remembering correctly that you don't buy from Amazon? They sure have a wide selection! My very first diamond art was a gift from a friend. It was just the right size to peak my interest! It hangs in my kitchen window and I love it! I tried to include the link but it wouldn't post it.

Hi All. I have spent time reading back and saddened by the loss of so many members. They may still be lurking and hope they decide to give an update status. - one month in Costa Rica engaged in plant medicine ceremonies and teaching principles and practices of Spiritual Psychology w/ Mrs Techie.

- one month in Switzerland (Zurich & Lucerne) for immunotherapy for cancer reoccurrence. Current status, NED.

- one month in Stockholm to visit my biological daughter with Mrs Techie. Lots of drama trauma. More to follow…

- Mrs Techie’s book launch and book tour around the country.

- Traumatic car accident with both of us injured but nothing serious.

-Sudden death of two of our best friends

- Stanford reunion

- Biohacking and dedication to healthy lifestyle. Hiking Grand Canyon rim to rim w/ Mrs Techie and others.

Dill, diamond art is pretty tiny work. I have a magnifying glass I use once in a while but I've had both my cataracts done already.

ABC, hopefully the weather will let you get back out to the lake next weekend. What an awesome getaway spot for son and dil.

Another busy day! I'm tired and need a vacation! I'll take another day of freedom

That is great that Mr. G is willing to help you now, Ginger -and that he is reaping the rewards too!
It is a surprise that Mr. D has changed his ways, Dill.

My sister and visiting sister-in-law were able to go strawberry picking this week, and were they delicious!
I couldn’t go because of this bad foot. And also can only wear these slides, and a compression hose and plantar fasciitis sock that I can’t get stained.

I am so sad and scared that I let my foot get so ruined by the bad shoes and improperly built-up sole and ill-fitting orthotics and bad advice by these “practitioners” that I was trusting for way too long. I can’t really hardly walk on it anymore. The damage could be permanent! I should have seen a podiatrist a long time ago! I hope he has solutions when I see him today. I am so sad & scared about being disabled for life.

The knee finally isn’t hurting & swollen so much today, so hopefully nothing is chipped, cracked, or broken.

How did the Oilers do, Mul and Cowboy?

I am doing something questionable financially, but I saw a condo that I loved that week, and I am selling this one and buying that one. That one costs a lot more, and I hope someone will buy this one, and more a somewhat decent price. The market has cooled, unfortunately.

Funny how we're all looking for hobbies as we get older, it wasn't long ago that drinking was my hobby. What a waste of time that was!

No lake trip this weekend, supposed to rain for most of the weekend and that's not good for trenching in the sewer line. So it's cross our fingers that next weekend will be better.
