    Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.

        Ya, the physical went fine a [MENTION=7944]dill[/MENTION]. In Alberta you have to get a yearly physical for Class 1 & 2 driver's licenses once you turn 65. Thanks for the song as well, it seems our tv is stuck on the Women's Network Christmas movies lol.

        We can always find something to be grateful for [MENTION=24080]Jude58[/MENTION], even if it's as simple as getting a walking boot! I meant to ask if you got your vehicle back from the body shop?

          I was wondering the same thing, ABC. This is one time I'm hoping the car repairs take longer so Jude can keep driving!

          Christmas movie with friends tonight. Maybe it should be White Christmas! I'll suggest it. Thanks, Dill.

            Yes we did get our car back, but I can't drive it yet because it's a standard. Hubby worries that I will get the boot stuck between the clutch and the brake. If I want to drive I'll have to use my friends car which is an automatic.

            24 hours of freedom on this blessed day...

                          Merry Christmas Cafe buddies! I hope everyone has a great day.

                          It was a stressful night as our granddaughter was taken to hospital having ingested nuts of some kind in a fruitcake slice. She has an allergy to tree nuts and as careful as we all are, sometimes things like this happen. She and her Dad were home about 1 this morning after about 4 hours at the hospital where additional medications to Benedryl and EpiPen were administered.. Fortunately firefighters and EMS personnel arrived quickly and did great work.
                          Not quite the way Christmas Eve was planned but as long as she?s OK, that?s all that matters.

                            Glad that your granddaughter is ok QW. That must have been so scary, and it gives me another excuse not to eat fruitcake!

                              Glad all is well now with your granddaughter, QW. That must've shaken you all up. Not a great way to spend Christmas Eve.

                              We had a wonderful Christmas and hope you all did as well. Now we need to be getting ready for the New Year. What happened to 2923?! I guess I blinked and now it's just about gone!
